October 2020 Focus Groups in Tucson (AZ) and Hudson (WI)

Building Healthier America is seeking families with chronically ill and disabled children of all ages in Tucson and Hudson to be a part of a series of focus groups. These families and their input are an integral part of developing the programs and services framework of Building Healthier America.

We know many resources exist in local communities to support families with chronically ill and disabled children.  Often these resources are isolated by funding source or service such as health care, schools, community organization, social support, business, government or advocacy group.  Families are challenged to locate and coordinate these resources needing extra ordinary efforts stressing their family balance, financial means and emotions.  We can do better, together…but only with your help!

Your advice and guidance are essential in developing Building Healthier America because you live the experiences that define the need for the service.  Translating your lived challenges and understanding the strengths families like yours possess will help develop a program that is relevant and utilized.

Sessions will be held remotely via Zoom to insure safety and convenience for participants. These sessions are essential in developing what we do as these families live the experiences defining the need for the services we will provide. It is these participants will provide the relevant direction and guidance
