Outside of my work with Building Healthier America, I currently serve as a Senior Advisor for HealthPartners, Inc. and Senior Research Fellow, HealthPartners Institute. Health Partners is a member governed, integrated health delivery and financing system providing health and dental care and insurance for one and a half million people in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska. As a Senior Advisor of HealthPartners, I provide strategic advisory solutions and recommendations for healthcare and delivery improvements across the organization. As a Senior Research Fellow of HealthPartners Institute, I am responsible for strengthening and expanding existing research opportunities, develop proposals for external funding, and representing HealthPartners and its research agenda to external communities as requested.
My entire career has been focused in health care services. For this reason, I’m intimately aware of why Building Healthier America is needed to help improve and streamline the experience families of children with chronic illness and disability experience. This is an exciting venture – and one I’m proud to be working with as we strive to serve local communities and families nationwide.
